Am Sonntag den 18.06.2023 fand der diesjährige Vereinsausflug des Jugendblasorchesters Neuenstein nach Schrezheim statt.
Dort angekommen ging es nach einer kurzen Einweisung direkt in die Lasertaghalle. Aufgeteilt in zwei Teams, Team Feuer(orange) und Team Erde(grün), spielten die Musiker gegeneinander, um durch gegenseitiges „markieren“ mit der Laserpistole möglichst viele Punkte zu erspielen. Nach jeder Runde von ca. 15 Minuten wurde gewechselt, so dass sich die Spieler auch eine Verschnaufpause gönnen konnten. Insgesamt spielte jeder Spieler je 3 Runden, bevor es mit teilweise sichtlich ausgepowerten Musikern weiter mit dem Bus Richtung Schrezheim bei Ellwangen ging. Dort war das Jugendblasorchester Neuenstein zum 50. Jubiläum des Musikvereins Schrezheim zu einem Gastauftritt eingeladen worden.
In der Sporthalle Schrezheim angekommen, gab es für die Musiker noch genug Zeit bei Speis und Trank der Kapelle aus Wissgoldingen zuzuhören, bevor dann das Jubo die Bühne übernahm.
Eröffnet wurde der Auftritt unter der Leitung von Astrid Schuh mit dem Captain America March. Etwa für 2 Stunden konnte das Schrezheimer Publikum bei Kaffee und Kuchen Liedern wie Zauberland, Just give me a reason, 60s Rock Mix, Disco Lives und viele weiteren Liedern aus verschiedenen Genres zuhören.
Der Auftritt war der Gegenbesuch des Jubos beim Musikverein Schrezheim, welche bereits 2017 beim Jubo in concert des Jugendblasorchesters Neuenstein zu Gast waren. Der Kontakt zum Musikverein Schrezheim ergab sich, als mehrere Musiker aus Neuenstein und Schrezheim gemeinsam im Kreisjugendorchester des Kreisverbandes Hohenlohe mitspielten.
Nach dem Auftritt ging es dann wieder zurück Richtung Neuenstein wobei noch ein Zwischenstopp am Grillplatz Kelterbuckel in der Nähe von Westheim eingelegt wurde. Hier fand der Tag dann bei Grillwurst und Grillkäse seinen gebührenden Ausklang.
